As a Christian (by the declaration and definition of Jesus, God Himself), I am very worried about the dangers of various teachings of the Roman Catholic Church and the danger of those teachings to the Catholic body.  Any dogma that undermines the deity of the Christ by definition is heresy and puts one's soul at risk.  As Peter stated above, "there is none other name" by which men are saved.  Therefore, when we hear of apparitions speaking that Mary or anyone or anything else other than God should be praised, worshipped, or prayed to (which is clearly the thing that God alone is worthy of), we fear for the deceived followers.

Therefore, this site has been created to provide direct scriptures that discuss (answer) certain dogmas of the Roman Catholic Church.  Some of these scriptures have been quoted to the church since reformation times, but, the Roman Catholic system has never been reformed.  Further, in the counter-reformation period, the Council of Trent declared the very scriptural answers to bad doctrine in the church were ANATHEMA, cursed.  That is why salvation through faith alone (which is not implied but clearly stated above by Jesus) is not taught to Catholics.  This flies in the face of the very Word of God.  But any priest who wants to teach those Words to you cannot for fear of disciplinary actions.  That is why we are posting them here.  We will strive to answer only official dogmas and those arising from encyclicals, tradition, and the official councils and papal decrees of the church.

We will confine ourselves to issues affecting the very salvation of the Catholic believer and those such as blasphemy that could cause the good Catholic to stumble.  We do not wish to discuss whether sprinkling a baby or immersing the baby is consider a true baptism.  We do not wish to discuss minutia.  We only care about those dogmas that affect your eternal destiny and relationship with Our Father.  Also, we are NOT here to sling accusations against the pontiff.  We WILL NOT discuss the shortcomings of any clergyman.  Thank God, we do not have to pay for the sins of another person and the church body is not responsible for the shortcomings of any man or member therof.

You may find some quotes from the Bible hard to swallow when they question or comdemn a practice of tradition that you and I have known since childhood.  However, we must follow the Word.  If the Word is not true and falls before the teachings of men, then the entire system of Christianity is a construct of man and not the plan of salvation laid out by God.  I hope we all agree that Christianity and salvation laid out in the Bible are true and of God.  If you believe you have the truth and the "truth shall set you free", then, you should have no problem reviewing all that is on this site and thinking about it with no risk to your faith.  I have found that if you are truly rooted in the Word of God, the words of men cannot deceive you.  However, if you are incapable of thinking for yourself and need for someone to tell you how to think and what to think, you may not understand anything on this site.  You will simply dismiss everything here including the Word of God which is cited as heresy and go back to sleep.

Dear Catholic believer we love you, unequivocally and unconditionally.  If you reject this entire site, we still love you.  This is not a Bible thumping attempt to claim you are going to Hell.  Our time with Catholicism has proved that many Catholics are wonderful, faithful, moral, and God-fearing people.  Anyone who tells you that all Catholics are going to Hell is a LIAR.  Our intent is not to harm you or disparage you in any way.  We are merely making certain that you are aware of scriptures from the Word of God that disagrees with certain dogmas.  We are not here to debate sprinkling versus immersion baptism or whether women should be ordained.  Our purpose is to deal directly with the dogmas which relate to the foundational principals of the Gospel of the Christ and/or those that relate to your eternal destiny.  Why those?  Because when you boil it all down, the only thing that counts is whether you will live for God and make it to heaven or whether you will die in your sins and go to eternal torment.  Everything else is subordinate because for a true born-again Christian eternal life is already guaranteed by Jesus (see above quotes!).

And in case you are not aware, if you are not a true Christian, Jesus warns of a burning hell not a temporary purging.

"And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.  And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. " The Gospel of Mark 9:43-48 ibid. (emphasis added)

He defines Hell three times in the same statement regarding death and punishment for sin with NO reference to any transitional place for purging of sin.  That is why we feel we must warn you.  It should be obvious to you that we love you because we are providing these scriptures to you despite the ANATHEMA curse your church has placed on us for doing so.  Also, it is not pleasurable at all to proclaim the truth when it hurts people's feelings and causes them discomfort.  But, because Jesus warns us that to to cut of body parts is preferable than Hell, so, we feel it of the direst importance to share our findings from the Bible with everyone.

"Open rebuke is better than secret love." from Proverbs 27:5

If you find any fault with the direct statements of the Word of God, please, take it up with Him Who wrote It and Him Who is the Word.  We will dialogue with you in email if you feel we have mistaking applied a scripture to a dogma that it does not apply.  However, here are the rules we use in scriptural study and interpretation.

  1. Scripture interprets scripture.

  2. All scriptures must be taken in their context and applied as they apply in context

  3. Where a device of literature or oratory such as parallelism, inverse, reciprocal or an appositive or other device of grammar is used to define a term, clause or meaning, it must be applied as stated and is not open to any other interpretation.

  4. If Jesus states it more than once in the same paragraph, it means what He says.  He meant it the way He said it or He would have said something else!!! (ad infinitem)

  5. A single verse or passage of scripture cannot have an true interpretation that contradicts other scriptures

  6. No single verse should be the basis of a doctrine, dogma, or major teaching.  There must be at least one other scripture affirming it, though there should be at least three other scriptures that can be cited in support

  7. No true interpretation of a scripture can contradict other scriptures

  8. All support scriptures must be contextually validating the supported text

  9. We use the Authorized English translation only (AKA the King James Version)

  10. No variant in English readings or translations is the basis for another interpretation.  Please, use the same translation we use in email to keep clarity and meaning equal.

  11. Any further revelation of God to be such must agree with His first revelation.  (i.e. the New Testament agrees with the Old Testament 100% of the time.)  Any other revelation that disagrees with what God has says is false and probably comes from the father of lies.

  12. Appeals to Greek or Hebrew definitions that disagree with the English word used in the quotes from the Authorized English translation most be corroborated by multiple lexicons and current scholars, not one source. (WE ARE NOT GREEK AND HEBREW SCHOLARS and you do not need to be scholars to understand the direct statements of the Word of God.  Truth transcends linguistics.)

If you do not accept the rules we use as valid, emails with a simple denial of our texts applied will not be answered.  If you cannot provide a scripture disagreeing with the scriptures we quote on a given subject, you have no argument.  We trust the Word of God alone, as it is written, direct where it is direct and symbolic where it is symbolic.  We do not appeal to "natural", "empirical" or "philosophical" reasoning to reach the Truth of God.  God is superior to all things known to man.  We defer to His Word for all explanations of His Word and His divinity, rule, authority, nature, creation and plan of salvation.

However, we are not perfect (only God is).  Therefore, if you feel we need to make a correction and it is Biblical, we will do so as the Word dictates.  If you do not understand a statement made, we will also attempt to explain it better.  We will endeavor to post emails and our replies so that we can avoid duplicating efforts.  Further, if you feel there are other dogmas that should be addressed, please, email us with them and from which authority or source they come.  Also, if you have a newer OFFICIAL printing, definition, or quotation of a dogma of the Roman Catholic Church, please, feel free to email us with the newer material and it's official source.  We are not experts on the Roman Catholic system, nor claim to be.

May the truth of God be found by all who seek Him and be in those who love Him.  God be with you all.

This site is for Christians and Roman Catholics ONLY.  If you are not a Christian or a Catholic, you have no Biblical right to condemn Catholic Doctrine or Dogma.  If you are an atheist or an adherent of Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, or any other non-Christian religious system, this site is not for you.  If you belong to such systems, you must compare your religious writings with the Torah and the Christian Bible and decide if you will accept or reject Jesus, the Christ, as your personal Lord and savior.  It is our hope that you will, but, until such time, the criticism of the followers of the Christ must be left to the Holy Spirit of God through the Word and Christians according to His Holy Word.
